Our Community Mobility Online Open House is now live!
On Thursday, Dec. 4, we launched a Community Mobility Online Open House! This virtual event is now live and runs through Dec. 19, 2025. It’s your chance to explore plans for safer walking, biking, and transit connections between Hood River, White Salmon, and Bingen.
The new Hood River-White Salmon Bridge will provide bicyclists and pedestrians with direct access across the Columbia River, creating exciting new opportunities for recreation and stronger connections between communities on both sides. Whether you drive, bike, walk, roll, ride public transit, or anything in between, your voice matters to the future of mobility in our communities.
What you’ll find:
Explore ideas for safer, more connected routes for people walking, biking, and rolling.
Review the Active Transportation and Safety Action Plan, which sets a framework for multimodal investments within a two-mile radius of the new bridge.
Share your feedback to help shape mobility solutions that reflect community priorities.
